Piper and the pups are doing fabulous!  They are starting to gain weight as Piper's milk is starting to come in.  She is eating 9 cups of food a day plus snacks.  (Normally she eats 2-3)   I ordered Lupine collars today for everyone so at 4 weeks they will have buckle collars.  I stayed as close to the rick rack themed colors as possible so the pups stay the same colors for all the pictures. 

All of the umbilical cord stumps have dried up and fallen off.  Now fingers crossed we do not have any hernias as Piper is super diligent about cleaning the pups and is always trying to gnaw the cords shorter. 

Today was dew Claw day.  We removed all of the Thumbs of the puppies.  Not a pleasant thing, but it is over fast and the pups are back to normal within minutes.  So if you were watching the cam and saw me taking them out one by one that is where they were.  Piper had to be locked outside during this process or she would have been ballistic!!  She is such a good mom.
