PIPER IS IN HEAT!!!

PIPER IS IN HEAT!
  Today marks Day # 1 of her cycle.  We will be doing progesterone tests a little later on (maybe around day 10)  to pinpoint actual ovulation.  Then, once she ovulates the breeding can be done. AND we will have an actual due date!!!    Wahooo.  We are excited.   I am guessing (based on last cycle)  we will be breeding by the second weekend in April.

Canine STD Tests

Dexter and Piper just got the results back from their Canine STD tests (Brucellosis)  Both are negative.  HA 

Piper is looking a little poofy "back there"  I think she enjoys the fact that we are all waiting on her....

Sperm Count

Great News.  Dexter had his sperm evaluation done today.  He has 750 million sperm and 95 % motility.  --This bodes good for pupplets in our future.  Just waiting on Piper.....
